Jean-Nicolas Bourtembourg

Experience

Jean-Nicolas assists clients on all kinds of tax matters including the tax aspects of structured finance, tax advices in the context of M&A, real estate, private equity and venture capital transactions.

Jean-Nicolas also advises high net worth individuals and companies for the implementation of incentive plans for employees.
He has a significant experience in the private equity sector and the acquisition structure of debt portfolios.

He also advises clients on the determination of arm's length prices for all types of related party transactions with a focus on financial transactions.

Jean-Nicolas has 21 years of experience in international taxation and transfer pricing. He joined Grant Thornton in 2014.

 

Publications

  • Jean-Nicolas is the co-author of brochures, articles and newsletters on Luxembourg holding companies and Luxembourg securitisation vehicles and on specific topics of tax law (e.g. the Luxembourg tax consequences of the transfer of registered offices, substance and holding companies).

  • Postgraduate Degree in European and International tax law - ESSF (Brussels)
  • Master’s Degree in Law - UCL (Belgium)
  • Luxembourg lawyer (Avocat à la Cour)
