As a reminder, Luxembourgish government supports companies’ training effort by offering aid to finance their training plans:

  • This aid, corresponding to 15% taxable of the annual amount invested, can be applied for by private sector companies legally established in Luxembourg and carrying out their main activities there;
  • An additional 20% is taken into account in terms of salary costs for participants who do not have a diploma recognised by the public authorities and who have been with the company for less than 10 years, and for employees aged over 45 on the date the company's training plan begins;
  • Investment in training is capped according to the size of the company:
    • 20 % of salary mass for companies with 1 to 9 employees
    • 3% of salary mass for companies with 10 to 249 employees
    • 2% of salary mass for companies with more than 249 employees
  • The INFPC examines applications for co-financing on behalf of the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth. The latter decides whether to grant the aid.
