Our Business Processing Services department operates a mutualised platform for CRS/FACTA/QI reporting as well as tax reporting for private clients. This platform allows financial institutions to outsource their reporting obligations rather than invest into and maintain complex reporting solutions and tax and regulatory knowledge. It also delivers a full range of ancillary services, including advisory, tax and regulatory watch, entity classification, due diligence, quality assurance, testing, remittance to tax authorities.

Functional Tax Analyst - Banking Sector


Your missions:

Depending on client requests and BPS development phases, you will:

  • Liaise with international Grant Thornton firms for the collection of local tax rules;
  • Write specifications to implement/adapt tax rules into our tax reporting tool;
  • On-board new clients for BPS services – Manage existing clients;
  • Perform testing and quality assurance activities;
  • Support the management of operations related to outsourced FATCA/CRS/QI/Tax reporting services;
  • Contribute to sales/marketing activities;
  • Assist on FATCA/CRS classifications and due diligence
  • Deliver trainings on CRS/FATCA/QI regulations;


Your profile:

You have the following qualifications and expertise:

  • An academic background ideally in accounting, audit, finance economics or law;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the banking sector in any of the following areas:

o Functional analysis on tax and securities projects;

o Analysis and implementation of regulatory matters such as FATCA, CRS, QI;

  • Good knowledge on banking products, private banking services, trading/settlement, custody, taxation of banking products revenues, tax reclaims;
  • Good understanding of corporate actions processing;
  • Good command of MS Office suite;
  • Prior experience in a consulting role will be considered as an advantage
  • Certifications are considered as an advantage (the likes of IIBA, ISTQB, Prince2);
  • Fluency in French and English is a prerequisite, any other language is considered to be an advantage;
